Eugène Stassin

 

Born in Namur, Belgium in 1899. He was educated as an architect at the University of Leuven.

Graduated in 1923. By Maurice Storez, founder of L'Arche, Stassin ended up at the studio in Oosterhout (1924).

There he is mainly involved in the projects for the Mont-Vierge monastery and the new refectory for the abbey in Affligem.

In 1929 he accompanied Bellot to the studio in Wisques, and continued to work there until 1933.

After 1933 he continued to work independently in Leuven.

 

He passed away in 1967.
