Portugal
Like in
Canada, Dom Bellot has given some lectures about religious architecture in
Portugal as well (1933). We presume the project at Porto is given to Bellot because
of these lectures. From 1937 until 1939 Dom Bellot travels from Canada to
Portugal and back, to work in both countries at different projects. In the
meantime he also travels to Wisques, to his atelier.
Trapped by the second world war he is forced to stay in Canada in September
1939. He would never see Europe again...
